Hoshino Gakki Co., Ltd. was approved as one of enterprises to mark the Aichi Quality brand in 2004 (Approval No.: 153).

Aichi Prefecture is promoting the “Aichi Quality” mark in order to broadly publicize the prefecture’s manufacturing strength and promote Aichi’s craftsmanship as a brand to the world. 59 companies in 2003 and 60 companies in 2004 were approved and nominated as “Aichi Quality” enterprises and a total of 119 companies were nominated.

Hoshino Gakki Co., Ltd, develops and markets Ibanez guitars and TAMA drums which are approved by the top musicians in the world and are sold in 70 countries.

In addition to its own plant located in Seto in Aichi Prefecture, Japan (Hoshino Gakki MFG Co., Ltd.), a newly established plant in China (Guangzhou Hoshino Gakki MFG Co., Ltd.) started production of TAMA drums in 2004, thus Hoshino Gakki stays flexible and precisely adapts to current trends.
